There is a nice mix of ideas across the ten tracks, with songs touching on relationships, memories, places, and personal experiences. “Lisa (Brief Encounter)” was one of the songs that stayed with me after I listened to it. The track has a relaxed country-rock feel, with blues touches, guitar, and expressive harmonica adding plenty of character. “Catching a Train to Your Heart” takes things in a livelier direction and brings the album to a strong close.

Mitchell is a songwriter focused on storytelling, while Toury is a multi-instrumentalist and arranger who plays guitar and keys.
